Three educators from the Davis School District were recognized as 2026 Show Up for Teachers Honors in Education honorees. The educators were named among Utah's outstanding education professionals.
The honorees included Hollie Fisher, a fourth-grade teacher at Lakeside Elementary, Amber McCord, an administrative intern at Ellison Park Elementary, and Ken Wright, an English teacher at Syracuse High School.
The recognition occurred during the annual Honors in Education Gala, which was held in conjunction with First Lady Abby Cox's Show Up for Teachers initiative. The event was designed to celebrate educators across Utah for their leadership, service, and commitment to students, schools, and communities.
While serving in different roles, Fisher, McCord, and Wright were noted for their shared commitment to helping students succeed. The district congratulated the educators on their well-earned honors.
