Jennie P Stewart Elementary released a report on October 9, 2026, outlining upcoming schedule changes and school activities. The report includes information regarding early dismissal, fall break, and various student opportunities.
Students will have an early out dismissal on Tuesday, October 13. There will be no school from October 14 through October 16 for fall break.
Volunteers for classroom activities and field trips are required to have a background check. Individuals who have previously completed a background check and have volunteered at least once per year do not need to obtain a new one.
Students are invited to participate in the Martin Luther King Jr. Speech Contest. Additionally, Stewart reflections submissions are due on October 16.
The PTA, Community Council, teachers, and staff have established guidelines for Halloween costumes to allow for a school parade. Students wearing costumes that do not follow these guidelines will be asked to change before participating.
Students in grades 3-6 who are interested in auditioning for the Finding Nemo production can find audition materials and a production calendar through provided links.
