The BLM Cedar City Field Office has issued a decision to implement a temporary closure for the Legacy Racing Association's Dirt Rebelution motorized race. The closure will affect BLM-administered lands located in Iron County.
The temporary closure is scheduled to begin on Friday, August 28, 2026, at 12:00 AM and will end on Sunday, August 30, 2026, at 11:59 PM Mountain Daylight Time.
According to the BLM, the order was issued to protect persons and to avoid conflict among users during the race activities. The decision follows the issuance of Categorical Exclusion documents.
