A hiker was successfully rescued in Kane County after becoming separated from a group of travelers on Monday.
The incident occurred while the group was traveling to The Wave and Wire Pass area.
According to a news release from the Kane County authorities, the hikers became separated from one member of their party during their trip.
When the rest of the group returned to the trailhead, they had hoped that the individual had arrived safely on his own, according to the news release.
