The Logan City Fire Department responded to a working fire at an auto salvage business early Sunday morning. The incident occurred at 1976 W. 200 North in Logan, Utah.
At approximately 8:30 this morning, crews were paged to the scene. Engine 70 arrived at the site in just over three minutes.
Upon arrival, fire crews found a large pile of cars on fire. The flames from the burning vehicles threatened nearby structures.
The Tom Creek Fire currently burning 16 miles southwest of Vernon is estimated at approximately 50 acres. Air tankers and helicopters are droppinh retardant and water, with multiple engine crews on the ground.
A Logan man is facing legal proceedings following accusations of sexually abusing a teenager to whom he provided music lessons. The case is being handled by the 1st District Court in Logan, Utah.
