Three Arizona players were cleared to join the roster ahead of a game against No. 15 BYU after a judge granted a temporary restraining order, according to a September 11 report.
Running back Ismail Mahdi, linebacker Max Harris, and punter Sullivan Moon were added to the official roster following the legal ruling by a Pima County judge regarding a lawsuit for a fifth year of eligibility.
The Arizona football program stated that Mahdi and Harris would travel with the team to the game against BYU.
Mahdi and Harris are considered significant additions for the Wildcats. Last season, Mahdi led the team in rushing with 859 yards and five touchdowns. Harris was the team's third-leading tackler and recorded 3.5 tackles for loss.
The Wildcats enter the matchup facing a five-game losing streak against the Cougars, which includes an overtime defeat last year. Arizona's upcoming schedule includes games against Texas Tech, Utah, Kansas State, and Arizona State.
