The Eureka City Council is scheduled to hold a regular meeting on Monday, Sept. 28, 2026, according to a notice published Sept. 27. The meeting is set to begin at 7:00 p.m. at 15 North Church Street in Eureka, Utah.
The meeting agenda includes several discussion and action items. Topics include repairs to Booster Pumps #1 and #3 following an inspection by Dan Fechner of Jones & DeMille. Other items include a liquor ladies license and local consent form for Anna Bellows, a conditional use permit for 321 W. Main Street involving Kathy Campbell, and a discussion regarding street signs, sidewalks, and the cemetery memorial project. Additionally, the council will consider the purchase of a mini excavator and the rental or purchase of a trailer using B&C road funding. Jess Peterson, serving as Community Advisor, is also listed on the agenda.
The council will also review the consent agenda, which includes the approval of minutes from Sept. 14, 2026. Following this, there will be reports from the Recreation Committee and the Planning Committee. The meeting will also include reports from Council Members Charles Davis, Kimberly Clements, Tom Nedreberg, Raeleen Maxfield, and Tony Atherley, as well as Mayor Robert Jenkins. Other discussion points include town hall matters, memorial building repairs and the library, and abandoned and dilapidated buildings.
The meeting will begin with a pledge of allegiance and a roll call. Citizens are permitted to provide comments during the designated citizen comments period, though comments are limited to three minutes and items not on the agenda cannot be acted upon during the meeting.
