The Waterford School Chamber Orchestra/Intermezzo Concert Series is scheduled to take place on October 2. According to a September 21 announcement, the event will run from 7:00 pm until 8:30 pm.
Waterford School is also hosting several upcoming alumni events. A series of reunions is scheduled for various graduating classes. The Class of 2001 will celebrate a 25 year reunion, while the Class of 2006 is scheduled for a 20 year reunion. Additionally, the Class of 2011 will mark a 15 year reunion, the Class of 2016 will celebrate 10 years since graduation, and the Class of 2021 is scheduled for a 5 year reunion. These gatherings will include conversation, shared memories, and provided appetizers and beverages.
A combined reunion for all Waterford alumni from the 1990s is also planned. This event is designed to allow alumni to reconnect and celebrate friendships through an evening of conversation and various drink options. These alumni celebrations are intended to provide a chance for former students to catch up with old friends and share memories of their school days.
Other scheduled activities for the school include the annual Alumni Soccer Game on Friday, May 15, and a Spring Family BBQ held at the Main Quad from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. The school also plans to host an Alumni Art Show and Gallery Opening on May 15 at the Haught Visual Arts Gallery, featuring work by 16 Waterford Alumni artists. Remarks for that event are expected at 4:00 pm from Gallery Manager and Curator Charlie Tadlock and other alumni artists.
Additional programming for Alumni Weekend includes the Back to Class event on May 15 at the Miller Student Commons and the Menke Minute, where Head of School Andrew Menke will share school updates. A tour led by Assistant Head of School Todd Winters is also scheduled for May 15 at the Miller Student Commons.
