TWIN FALLS, Idaho - The 12th-ranked CSI Volleyball team got off to a roaring start in Scenic West play defeating USU-Eastern 25-15, 25-13, 25-17 on Friday night at Heidi Cartisser Court.
In their first game in just under two weeks time, the Golden Eagles showed no signs of rust, as they came out firing, hitting .309 as a team and spreading the wealth. Vivian Goto led the way with 11 kills, while Nana Lonzhanidze added eight. Emma Pannell and Laura Grasel each chipped in seven kills, while Grasel led the way with four block assists. Dalayni Brindley dished out 23 assists and had a pair of service aces, while Emerson Heatwole once again paced the Golden Eagles in digs with 13, while adding three service aces.
The Golden Eagles snapped a two game losing streak dating back to September 12th, and are now 12-4 overall, as they go for the two game sweep over the Eagles tomorrow when the teams will match up once again at 12:00 p.m. Print Friendly Version
