The Weber County Planning Commission is scheduled to hold a public hearing on Tuesday, November 17, 2026, to discuss a land rezoning proposal in McFarland. According to a November 5 notice, the meeting will focus on changing the designation of approximately 285.5 acres.
The proposal involves rezoning the property from the A-2 Agriculture Zone into two distinct categories: approximately 280.6 acres of R-3A Residential Zone and 4.8 acres of O-1 Open Space Zone. This change would incorporate the entire property into the Westbridge Meadows Master Planned Development.
Officials stated that the proposal seeks to utilize density previously approved for that development, and no new density is being proposed as part of this request.
The hearing is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. at the County Commission Chambers, located on the first floor of the Weber Center at 2380 Washington Blvd. in Ogden.
Individuals seeking special accommodations during the meeting, such as auxiliary communicative aids or services, should notify county offices. Available accommodations include an elevator, a ground floor meeting room, and a digital meeting recording system.
