The Trigger Therapy High School Sporting Clays team from Ephraim made history by winning multiple state titles at the Utah Youth Education in Shooting Sports State Finals, held from April 30th to May 2nd at Wasatch Wings and Clays in Cedar Fort, Utah.
Carter Copple took third in the Class C trap shoot, while Chase Anderson dominated the competition, securing first place in the College division across several events and achieving a remarkable 100 consecutive clays in trap.
Jaxon Johnson claimed first place in the Novice division for super Sport and sport Skeet, earning the title of this year's HOA Novice Male and Novice State Team Captain. Karter Quarnberg also excelled, finishing second in the Senior division and being named the Senior State Team Captain.
Kasch Willden and Lilly Nielson both achieved first place in their respective divisions, with Lilly also earning the title of JV Lady HOA and Ladies State Team Captain. Wyatt Hobush and Zariah Willden secured second places in their categories.
Richard Lacrue finished in the top ten for Sportsmanship Annie Oakley, and the team's coach, Richard Nielson, claimed first place in the adult super sport competition.
