The St. George Planning Commission has announced a meeting scheduled for Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. The meeting will take place in the City Council Chambers located at 61 S Main St, St George, Utah.
The agenda includes a request for a conditional use permit regarding the removal of a condition for a 100 ft. cell tower approved on January 15, 2026. The applicant for this case is Powder River, represented by Jared White.
Two public hearings are scheduled regarding zone changes. One involves Strap Tank Brewery St George LLC, which is seeking to change the zoning of approximately 1.68 acres from General Commercial to Planned Development Commercial. The second hearing involves a request by Bush & Gudgell, Inc. to change the zoning of an approximately 8.48-acre parcel from Agriculture to Planned Development Commercial. This property is located north of 2450 South and west of 3210 East.
Additionally, the commission will consider approving the meeting minutes from the August 25, 2026, meeting and review reports on items from the September 3, 2026, City Council meeting.
