The No. 6 ranked Snow College football team is scheduled to face Cisco College at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at Chesley Field. This game represents a landmark matchup as it marks the first game the Badgers will play as a member of the Southwest Junior College Football Conference, according to a September 3 statement.
Snow College enters the matchup following a 31-17 victory against No. 10 Garden City Community College to open the 2026 season. During that game, the Badgers defense forced three turnovers in the fourth quarter to secure the win. Jadyn Buckner scored both touchdowns in the fourth quarter, finishing with 63 yards on seven carries.
The defense recorded seven sacks against Garden City Community College, which is the most sacks recorded against an NJCAA opponent since the 2022 season against Monroe College. Additionally, the Badgers held their previous opponent to 26 rushing yards, their fewest against a ranked opponent since Sept. 4, 2025.
The upcoming meeting between the Badgers and the Wranglers will be the first in program history. Cisco College enters the game following a 59-7 loss to No. 2 Hutchinson Community College.
Snow College has operated as an NJCAA independent since the 2019 season. Their last game in a conference was a 24-17 loss to Eastern Arizona College on Nov. 10, 2018. Under Head Coach Zac Erekson, the Badgers have a 48-15 overall record and have been 22-6 in road games since 2020.
All Snow College home games this season will be broadcast by SnowTV via their YouTube channel and CentraCom channel 10. Radio broadcasts will be available on KMTI 650 AM. Live statistics for home games and select road games can be found at snowbadgers.com.
