The Texas Longhorns rank second, featuring Arch Manning and veteran option MJ Morris, who brings 10 career starts to the program. The depth chart also includes young players Dia Bell and KJ Lacey.
Utah Utes are positioned third with a room noted for dual-threat capabilities. Devon Dampier enters with significant production, including over 7,250 total yards and 65 touchdowns over two seasons. Byrd Ficklin provides a secondary option, having averaged 8.4 yards per carry last season.
Other notable programs in the top five include Ole Miss, led by Trinidad Chambliss and transfer Deuce Knight, and Ohio State, which returns Julian Sayin alongside backup Tavien St. Clair.
Further down the rankings, LSU features Sam Leavitt and Husan Longstreet, while USC relies on Jayden Maiava and veteran Sam Huard, with freshman Jonas Williams noted as a future prospect.
Miami continues its trend of utilizing the transfer portal with Darian Mensah, supported by Luke Nickel and Dereon Coleman. Houston ranks ninth behind Connor Weigman and top recruit Keisean Henderson. Rounding out the top ten is Notre Dame, led by CJ Carr, with freshmen Blake Herbert and Noah Grubbs providing depth.
