Overview
Monrovian Park Picnic Area is a day use area available for groups and individuals. The site is located 4 miles from Monroe Utah. Caution: Access to this canyon is via a narrow, one-lane road. Please reduce your speed and remain alert for oncoming vehicles, OHVs, and pedestrians.Facilities
Facilities include three group sites and five single sites, parking, picnic tables, fire circles, utility tables, group grills, and vault restrooms. Natural Features
Monrovian Park Picnic Area is located in a beautiful canyon filled with jagged rocks, shady trees, and a creek flowing through.Recreation
Stream fishing is available in the adjacent creek. Both short and long hiking trails can be enjoyed. Be cautious since rattle snakes can also be found in the canyon. Please pack-out what you pack-in. Monrovian Park is for day use only and sites are not reservable. It's a first come, first serve picnic area. See restrictions tab for more information.

Monrovian Park Picnic Site is 4 miles southeast from Monroe Utah. From the junction of Main Street and Center Street in Monroe, head south on main Street for 0.8 miles. Follow the road as it turns left and becomes the Monroe Canyon Road (FR078) for 2.8 miles. Turn left onto FR161 for 0.2 miles to the park.
