The Ogden School District has announced a transition in student technology monitoring. The district is moving from GoGuardian to Blocksi for its student internet filtering, classroom screen monitoring, and parent dashboard portal.
Mount Ogden Junior High continues its status as an officially authorized International Baccalaureate (IB) Middle Years Programme school. As part of the MYP experience, 9th graders participate in the MYP Community Project during their advisory period.
The Mount Ogden Library recently received $5,800 in library grants and secured first place in a Battle of the Books competition.
Other recent district highlights include national recognition for OTECH High School's competency-based program at Ogden-Weber Technical College. Additionally, Superintendent Luke Rasmussen was named as one of the 40 for 40 Years honorees by Voices for Utah Children.
