South Summit High School conducted College and Career Ready (CCR) Conferences for students and parents. During these meetings, counselors met with participants to discuss academic performance, progress toward graduation, testing, and transition plans for college or career paths.
The conferences also served as a time for students to submit class requests for the upcoming year. The schedule for these meetings followed a grade-specific timeline.
Senior conferences took place in September and October, while juniors met in November and December. Sophomores participated in February, and freshman conferences were held in April.
Appointments for these sessions were organized by student last name, with separate registration paths for those with last names ranging from A through L and M through Z. Information regarding appointment availability was distributed as it became available.
