The Pleasant Grove City Council is scheduled to hold a work session and a regular meeting on Oct. 6, 2026, according to an amended agenda published Oct. 5. The work session will begin at 4:30 p.m. in the Community Room at 108 S 100 E, followed by a regular meeting at 6:00 p.m.
The work session scheduled for 4:30 p.m. includes a discussion on secondary water rates, a presentation of the Historic Preservation Commission project list by Laurel Cunningham, and a discussion regarding the library pavilion. Staff business is also listed on the work session agenda. While the public is invited to attend, the agenda notes that work sessions are not designed to take official action or hear public comment.
During the 6:00 p.m. regular meeting, several action items are scheduled for vote. These include awarding the Pleasant Grove Library Landscape and Pavilion Project to S&L Inc. for an amount not to exceed $406,922.68, as presented by Director Winterton. Additionally, the council will consider a single event alcohol permit for Grid Entertainment for the Hallow’s Eve Monster Bash, which is scheduled for Oct. 31, 2026, at 593 South Evermore Lane. The council will also consider Resolution 2026-046 to authorize the Mayor to sign an agreement with Ridgeline Consultants for the 600 West and Center Street Improvements Project.
A public hearing is scheduled during the regular meeting to consider Ordinance 2026-030. Presented by Director Cárdenas, this ordinance involves a code text amendment to Section 10-15-47 regarding accessory apartments to revise parking requirements. Consent items for the meeting include the approval of City Council minutes from Aug. 18, 2026, and Sept. 1, 2026, as well as various payments and change orders for Condie Construction Co., LLC and Black Forest Paving related to the 800 North and 1100 East area reconstruction projects.
Following the regular meeting, the council will review and discuss the agenda for the next City Council meeting scheduled for Oct. 22, 2026.
