Okay Boomers and Gen Xers: USU Extension Would Like to Hear from You

By Dennis Hinkamp | October 30, 2026

Utah State University Extension wants to ensure it has programming in place to meet Utahns' future needs as our population continues to age. If you are a Utah resident and are 55 years old or older, we would like to hear from you so you can help shape our future educational efforts.

Cris Meier, USU Extension community resource and economic development specialist, is spearheading the effort to learn more about older Utahns.

“The survey asks about retirement plans, social engagement, community programming and topic preferences, physical activity, food access, sexual health, and financial literacy,” she said. “It should only take about 10 minutes to complete."

If you would like more targeted health and wellness education and programming from USU Extension, follow this link to complete the survey:

USU Extension county offices provide local programming in agriculture, nutrition, food preservation, financial well-being, and for 4-H youth.
