BYU backup linebacker Matthew Ephraim Luapo Asiata is under investigation for alleged possession of forgery material, driving under the influence, and several other crimes.
Asiata, 20, who is listed on the BYU Football roster as Ephraim Asiata, was arrested on July 2 for investigation of several offenses, including a Utah crime.
The arrest occurred in Provo, Utah, according to reports from Gephardt Daily.
Asiata is currently a backup linebacker for Brigham Young University.
