Dear Edgemont Families,
Welcome back to a great week at Edgemont! Thanks for a great week last week. I was able to visit several classrooms this week and have been so impressed with the level of planning and preparation and the student participation. We have amazing teachers and students!
On Friday we'll have our first SOAR Assembly for this school year. Parents of students being recognized are welcome to come and watch. If you come, please sit in the chairs along the back of the gym. The chairs on the sides are for teachers to sit by and supervise their classes. Your child's teacher will be reaching out to you to let you know if your child will be receiving a SOAR award.
We have been having issues with parents parking in the handicapped parking spaces and blocking them for people who need them. Please only park in those spaces if you have a handicap tag or license plate. Provo police have also given updates on the new laws surrounding motorized e bikes and scooters. Please check your email for more information about these new laws in Utah.
