Unofficial primary election results were released for several state and federal races, including U.S. House District 3 and various Utah county positions. The tallies provided details on the performance of candidates in congressional, state legislative, and local administrative contests.
In the race for U.S. House District 3, Celeste Maloy received 56,610 votes compared to 27,385 for Phil Lyman. For the State Board of Education District 14, Linda Hanks earned 19,576 votes, while Nichole Beecher Isom received 8,481.
State House races also saw results posted. In District 29, Sheldon Birch recorded 2,829 votes to Alexis Wheeler's 1,531. In District 69, Logan J. Monson earned 3,965 votes, while Daniel Gardner received 2,437.
Local county races showed varying results across several regions. In Beaver County, Jonathan L. Caldwell received 976 votes for Commissioner A against Tammy Pearson's 9::16, and Cody V Black earned 1,007 votes for Sheriff over Dunn Alisa Jr.'s 889. Garfield County Republican for Commission Seat A saw Richard G Birch with 883 votes, William Ralph Perkins with 370, Wallace S Dodds with 177, and Michael K Savage with 86.
Juab County results included J. David Fletcher winning Commissioner Seat A with 1,493 votes against Chris Memmott's 905, and Marty L. Palmer winning Commissioner Seat B with 1,338 votes over Kevin C Snow's 1,068. M. Drake Underwood received 1,565 votes for County Sheriff, while Chris Painter earned 865.
In Kane County, Celeste Meyeres won the Republican primary for Commissioner Seat B with 942 votes against Matthew Legrand Cox's 716. For the County Clerk/Auditor position, Chameill Lamb received 1,130 votes compared to Martin Hepworth's 499.
Millard County results showed Kevin Don Morris winning Commission Seat A with 1,469 votes over Vicki E Lyman's 910, and Louis Howard Quackenbush II winning Commission Seat B with 1,806 votes against Felipe “Phil” Diaz's 542. For Sheriff, Steve O’Camb received 1,384 votes while Patrick Bryant Bennett earned 994.
Other county updates included Sanpete County Commissioner Seat A, where AJ Mower received 2,621 votes to Jonnie R. Carter's 1,496. In Sevier County, Jed J Maxwell earned 1,624 votes for Commission Seat A against Newell Hales' 1,322. Finally, in Wayne County, Milly Edwards won Commissioner Seat B with 578 votes over Kerry Cook's 301, and Jayden T Coburn received 757 votes for Sheriff compared to James Jimmy Harris' 123.
