Water Canyon High School has released an agenda for an upcoming School Community Council meeting scheduled for Oct. 5, 2026. According to a notice on the school's website, the meeting will cover several administrative items and school improvement discussions.
The agenda for the Oct. 5 meeting includes a discussion regarding the Utah Trust Lands overview, the roles and responsibilities of the School Community Council, and the development of a school improvement plan. Members will also discuss the Trust Lands plan, goals, and spending allocation.
Additional items on the agenda include nominations for the positions of chair, vice chair, and secretary, as well as a review of the rules of procedure. The council will also discuss the current school improvement plan and counseling items, specifically a data project and a school prevention plan.
The council's 2026-2027 timeline includes future meetings scheduled for Feb. 1, 2027, and March 22, 2027. A school trust land report is due on March 22, 2027.
The 2026-2027 Water Canyon High School Community Council consists of employees Jonathan Howell, Randy Wyatt, Wendee Wilkinson, and Kristen Swindlehurst, alongside parents Eliza Williams, Aleisha Black, Konstance Merideth, Lisa Oliverio, Tadi West, and Irene Dutson.
