The Wayne School District has released an activities calendar for October 2026. The schedule includes various athletic events and district meetings scheduled throughout the month.
Several athletic events are scheduled for the first half of the month. Volleyball matches are slated for Oct. 7 at 7:00 p.m. against Piute at Wayne and another match at SVC for the 1A/2A Clash. Cross country is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. against Piute. Additionally, baseball state first round games are scheduled at home sites.
Other upcoming athletic activities include volleyball matches against Water Canyon at 7:00 p.m. on Oct. 8 and against Escalante at 7:00 p.m. on Oct. 10, which is noted as a Pink Game. Cross country is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. against Water Canyon on Oct. 8. Baseball state quarter-final games are also scheduled for Oct. 8.
District meetings and further athletic events are scheduled for mid-October. An annual Title 1 meeting is scheduled for 12:00 p.m. on Oct. 14. A board meeting is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. on Oct. 14.
Additional athletic competitions include volleyball matches against Bryce Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Oct. 15 and against Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Oct. 17, which is designated as Senior Night. The Region 20 Tournament for cross country is scheduled at Bryce Valley on Oct. 15. Baseball state finals are scheduled for Oct. 9.
The end of the month features high-stakes athletic tournaments. The volleyball state tournament is scheduled for Oct. 17 at UVU, following the first round of state on Oct. 16. Cross country is scheduled for the State Cross Country Championship on Oct. 31.
