The Snow College volleyball team will begin the season ranked eighth in the NJCAA Division I Volleyball Preseason Poll, according to a report published August 18.
The ranking follows a strong finish to the 2025 season, which included a Rocky Mountain District Championship after a 3-2 victory against Eastern Arizona College last fall.
During the 2025 season, the Badgers finished with a 15-17 overall record and secured an eighth-place finish at the NJCAA National Tournament. This performance included a 3-0 sweep against No. 5 Barton County Community College in the first round of that tournament.
In the preseason poll, Miami Dade College claimed the top spot, followed by Florida Southwestern State College. Northeastern Junior College, Weatherford College, and Trinity Valley Community College rounded out the top five.
Three SWAC opponents were placed within the top 20. Salt Lake Community College was ranked seventh, one spot ahead of Snow College. The College of Southern Idaho was slotted 18th, and Utah State University Eastern claimed the 20th spot.
The Badgers' season begins at the Scooter's Invitational in Garden City, Kansas, where they are scheduled to face four opponents, including No. 14 Frank Phillips College. The team is also scheduled to play 14 matches against ranked opponents this season, including a matchup against MDC on Sept. 12 in Taylorsville.
