The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has begun releasing a six-part video series titled Dedicate, which follows seven young adults from different countries touring the Salt Lake Temple. In a Church News podcast episode released Oct. 13, 2026, the production team discussed how the series highlights the personal testimonies of youth as they witness temple renovations and discuss temple covenants.
The series features participants from Brazil, the Philippines, France, the United States, Japan, Ghana, and Mexico. Among the featured individuals are Sora Murata, a linguistics student from Japan living in Provo, and Alexandra Cazier Hovermale from Huntsville, Alabama. Producer Aaron Merrell noted that the series was designed to reach a global audience, ensuring that those unable to attend the Salt Lake Temple celebration in person can still experience the messaging.
During filming, participants engaged with various Church leaders in significant locations within the temple. Alexandra Cazier Hovermale described an emotional experience in a sealing room with Elder Patrick Kearon, while Sora Murata spoke about observing the baptism font with Elder Neil L. Andersen.
The production involved filming amidst active construction, including scaffolding and heavy equipment. Despite the presence of construction noise, Merrell stated that the spirit remained strong in the temple. The series was filmed in multiple locations, including the Birmingham Alabama Temple, to capture a variety of perspectives on how the house of the Lord serves as a refuge for people worldwide.
The Dedicate series was released on Oct. 4, 2026. The production team included director Chantelle Squires and producer Adam Anderegg. The episodes are intended to be available through various Church channels, including YouTube, the Church website, BYUtv, and KSL, with initial translations available in 12 languages.
