The Black Canyon Fire has reached 61% containment, according to an update from InciWeb. The wildfire is located within the Manti-Lasal National Forest.
The wildfire has burned a total of 3,264 acres. According to records from the U.S. Forest Service, the fire was caused by lightning and began on July 30, 2026.
