Several schools, including Whitehorse High School, will extend at-home learning through Friday, Oct. 23, due to heavy rains and increased flooding. The shift to virtual learning is a response to weather conditions that school and district leadership are continually monitoring.
The schools scheduled for a virtual day on Friday, Oct. 23, include Bluff Elementary School, Montezuma Creek Elementary School, Whitehorse High School, Monument Valley High School, Tse'Bii'Nidzisgai Elementary School, and Navajo Mountain High School.
Scholars will need to monitor their email and Canvas Announcements pages for instructions from their teachers. Officials recommend checking email and Thrillshare notifications to stay current on updates.
