The Kearns City Council scheduled a public hearing to discuss the City of Kearns’ Fiscal Year 2027 Budget and an amendment to the Fiscal Year 2026 Current Budget. The hearing was scheduled for Monday, June 8, 2026, at 6:00 pm MST at the Element Center, located at 5658 Cougar Lane, Kearns, Utah 84118.
According to a notice dated May 29, 2026, attendees at the hearing will have the opportunity to express views regarding revenue and expenditure estimates or any item within the proposed Fiscal Year 2027 Budget and the proposed amendment to the Fiscal Year 2026 Current Budget.
Copies of the budget and the proposed amendment were to be available for inspection at least seven days prior to the hearing at the Greater Salt Lake Municipal Services District office, located at 860 W. Levoy Dr., Suite 300, Taylorsville, UT 84123. Copies were also made available on the Utah Public Notice Website.
In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, Kearns City offered reasonable accommodations for hearing participation. Requests for assistance could be made by calling the Kearns City Recorder at 385-377-9466 within three working days of the meeting.
