The Lehi boys golf team secured the school's first-ever boys golf state title on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, at TalonsCove Golf Course in Saratoga Springs. The Pioneers claimed the championship despite difficult weather conditions featuring overcast skies and temperatures in the high 40s and low 50s.
Lehi finished with a team total of 562, seven shots ahead of Region 3 rival Skyridge, which finished with 569. Lone Peak took third place with 571. Other notable team finishes included American Fork and Bingham, who tied for sixth with 584, and defending champion Corner Canyon, which finished eighth.
Lehi's championship run was driven by several key individual performances. Crue Harward earned silver medal honors with a two-day total of 9-under par. Jordan Ofahengaue tied for third overall at 7-under, while Simon Caraces tied for 15th at even par. D’Adiddas Nota tied for 35th at 5-over. Other contributors to the Lehi score included Brodyn Pace and Owen Coombs.
Lone Peak's Blake Brown claimed individual medalist honors with a total score of 132. Brown, a junior, recorded a 5-under 31 on his back nine to secure the victory. He finished three strokes ahead of Harward, who had led after the first day with a 7-under total after shooting a 65.
The 6A tournament featured a highly competitive field where 88 golfers made the cut at 8-over par. Skyridge's freshman Jraice Finau finished fifth overall with a score of 6-under. Other medalists included Lone Peak's Ryder Huish and Skyridge's Klive Fuhriman, who tied for tenth with 2-under.
Lehi head coach Johnny Revill noted that the team was prepared for the difficult weather, citing a previous 36-hole region match played in the rain at Fox Hollow. Revill stated that the team was ecstatic to achieve the school's first state title at the highest level of competition.
