Nebo Education Foundation September Grant DeliveriesNebo School DistrictOctober 6, 2026During the grant delivery cycle on September 23, 24, and 25, seventeen innovative educational proposals were officially funded, delivering $13,838.34 directly into local classrooms. Made possible through dedicated community business sponsors, these grant awards equip teachers with modern technology, enhanced literacy libraries, STEM equipment, and interactive learning tools across 13 district schools.Interactive Technology & STEM: Major tech additions include a Clear Touch Board with stand for Bridges, iPad setups with charging cabinets for Springville Junior High, 3D printers for Mt. Loafer Elementary ($473.49) and Goshen Elementary, plus audio-visual tools such as MP3 players loaded with Audible at Diamond Fork Middle and classroom speakers/microphones at Payson Junior High.Literacy & Curriculum Expansion: Funding expanded early literacy and reading engagement with projects like the 95% Lesson Library and Phonemic Awareness Suite at Canyon Elementary, leveled reading books at Meadow Brook Elementary, expanded library books at Sage Creek Elementary, Springville High, and Payson Junior High, as well as Studies Weekly magazine subscriptions at Orchard Hills Elementary.Hands-On & Experiential Learning: Direct student engagement tools funded include magnetic teaching aids at Diamond Fork Middle, rolling whiteboards at Art City Elementary, wireless game buzzers for interactive review at Springville Junior High, and a hands-on Butterfly Biosphere experience at Mapleton Junior High.This month’s grant distributions were sponsored by fourteen local business partners. Special thanks go to Westland Construction, America First Credit Union, and Kenny Seng Construction for each sponsoring multiple grant awards during this cycle, alongside generous contributions from Clyde Companies, Central Valley Medical Center, Cyprus Credit Union, Central Bank, Midgley and Huber, Hogan Construction, KMA Architects, Mahas Construction, LRB Public Finance, Western States Mechanical, and Olsen & Peterson Consulting.
