Eight crew members are confirmed dead following the crash of a B-52 Stratofortress at California's Edwards Air Force Base on Monday.
The base reported that the aircraft, which was carrying a crew of eight, crashed shortly after takeoff at 11:20 a.m. Monday morning.
Officials at the base stated that initial indications suggest the crash was not survivable.
The incident occurred during the Monday morning takeoff period at the California installation.
