Podium announced in a report published October 22, 2026, that it has surpassed $150 million in AI-specific annual recurring revenue (ARR). The Lehi, Utah, company reached this milestone in two and a half years, whereas its original software business required eight years to reach the same amount.
The company's shift toward AI agents began three years ago as a company-wide strategic move. Podium CEO Eric Rea stated that the company chose to disrupt itself rather than wait for another entity to do so. This strategy involved rebuilding software around AI agents designed to function like employees.
Currently, more than 20,000 Podium AI agents are deployed. These agents assist customers in generating more than $13 billion in revenue by performing tasks such as answering calls, responding to leads, booking appointments, following up with customers, and identifying opportunities for revenue growth.
Podium is expanding its vision by building business software centered on these AI agents for various industries. For contractors in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and garage door services, the company is developing an AI-native field service management system to assist with job scheduling and technician dispatching.
In the aesthetics industry, Podium's electronic medical record system helps practices manage patients and book treatments. For automotive dealerships, the agents are designed to convert leads into test drives, book service appointments, and encourage repeat business.
Founded in 2014, Podium provides AI solutions for local businesses in the automotive, home services, aesthetics, and health sectors. The company has received recognition from Inc. Magazine for best AI implementation, has been highlighted by OpenAI for its revenue-driving agents, and was awarded the No. 1 AI Agent for Business Operations by G2.
