Park City Firework and Fire Bans
The Park City Fire District ordinance prohibits the use of all class C fireworks, such as firecrackers, bottle rockets, and Roman candles. The restrictions also ban all open fires unless they are contained within a specifically designed receptacle or structure to prevent spreading.
Risks of Incendiary Ammunition
Additionally, the district strongly discourages the use of steel jacketed, incendiary, and tracer bullets due to their role in starting wildfires across Utah. Violations of these rules are classified as class B misdemeanors and may result in fines or jail time.

In Lynndyl, the local fire department operates as an all-volunteer unit serving the community and surrounding areas. The town also utilizes the Millard County Sheriff’s Office for law enforcement services.
