Capitol Reef National Park officials are seeking help from the public to locate 77-year-old Richard Discipio. He was last seen at the Days Inn in Torrey, Utah, on June 6.
Discipio may have been hiking in the Chimney Rock area of Capitol Reef National Park between June 6 and June 8.
Discipio is described as being 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing 155 pounds, and having green eyes. It remains unknown what clothing he was wearing during his disappearance.
A joint search and rescue effort is currently in progress involving units from the National Park Service, Bureau of Land Management, Wayne County, and Sevier County.
