Emery County commissioners addressed several community matters during a meeting held on Tuesday, Aug. 4, according to a report published August 10. The agenda included discussions regarding solar development, a potential expansion of the county jail, and flood-control infrastructure.
During the meeting, Emery High rodeo team members Kamz Rich and Quirt Payne participated to thank commissioners for their support. The team members discussed their experiences competing at nationals in Lincoln, Nebraska.
In addition to the topics mentioned, the commission addressed several community programs during the session.
