Shortest regional ER wait times
Among the regional hospitals reporting active emergency services, Lone Peak Hospital in Draper recorded one of the shortest wait times at 5 minutes. Ogden Regional Medical Center in Ogden also reported an average wait of 5 minutes. Other low-wait facilities included Cache Valley Hospital in North Logan and St. Mark's Hospital in Salt Lake City, both of which showed 6-minute averages.
Higher activity in some departments
In contrast, other regional emergency departments reported higher levels of activity. Lakeview Hospital in Bountiful showed an average wait time of 13 minutes, while Timpanogos Regional Hospital in Orem reported a 12-minute average. Brigham City Community Hospital also noted a wait period of 7 minutes for its patients.
Surgical and endoscopy center updates
MountainStar Healthcare's surgical and specialty centers also provided operational updates for June 26. The network includes several endoscopy and surgery centers such as the Lakeview Endoscopy Center in Bountiful, which remains open until 5:50 p.m., and the Mountain West Endoscopy Center in Salt Lake City, which operates until 5:00 p.m.
Regional surgical center locations
The healthcare network's surgical footprint extends across multiple Utah cities. Notable surgery centers listed in the June 26 update include the Central Utah Surgical Center in Orem, Mt. Olympus Surgery Center in Salt Lake City, Wasatch Endoscopy Center in Salt Lake City, and Ridgeline Surgicenter in Ogden. Urgent care hours and availability
In addition to surgical facilities, the provider maintains several urgent care locations throughout the region. CareNow Urgent Care in Orem and CareNow Urgent Care in Murray both listed hours of operation until 8:00 p.m., while the American Fork location was scheduled to close at 5:00 p.m. The Salt Lake City CareNow location reported one patient in line as of the morning update.
