The Rocky Canyon Fire in Morgan County has placed the Hogsback Summit area on a ready evacuation status. According to Utah Fire Info, the fire is making a significant push during the heat of the day.
The human-caused fire was discovered on Friday and has burned an estimated 595 acres. At this time, the fire has 0% containment. While previous acreage estimates were higher, the current estimate stands at 595 acres.
The fire continues to be monitored as it impacts the Morgan County area.
