Hildale gained a new recreational destination earlier this year with the opening of The Birdie Box. Founded by local entrepreneur Avery Hammon, the indoor golf simulator studio officially opened on April 8th at 1065 W Utah Avenue, Suite B.

The facility provides a premium golf experience through high-fidelity simulator technology that captures detailed shot data, including ball trajectory, spin, distance, and swing speed.
Course variety and community mission
The studio allows players to select courses from a large digital library, featuring famous locations such as St. Andrews and Pebble Beach. Hammon stated that the primary motivation for starting the business was to provide more activity-based opportunities within the local community.

Beyond being a sports facility, The Birdie Box is intended to serve as a gathering space for corporate outings, birthday parties, and groups of friends or families. The arrival of the studio offers an alternative for golfers who previously had to travel long distances to find practice facilities or courses.
Operating hours and pricing details
The Birdie Box operates seven days a week from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM. A weekday discount is available for $30 per hour from Monday through Thursday before 5:00 PM, while the standard rate is $40 per hour during evenings and weekends.
