Hurricane Valley Fire & Rescue battled two car fires that transitioned into brush fires on Interstate 15 in Washington County. The incidents took place five miles apart over a seven-hour period between Saturday night and Sunday morning.
The second fire occurred at approximately 1:30 a.m. According to reports, the vehicle blaze resulted in four people being sent to the hospital. The fire also burned a quarter acre of land.
