Huntsville officials announced that road work involving new asphalt overlays would be conducted on several local roads. According to a notice on the town's website, residents with property along these routes were asked to turn off sprinklers to prevent water from hitting the roads during the work.
The project included scheduled work at the intersection of 500 South and 7700 E, which may have required using 100 S to enter or exit Huntsville or to reach the Post Office.
From Wednesday, September 9, through Friday, September 11, asphalt overlays were scheduled for 200 S between 7600 E and 7700 E, 300 S between 7500 E and 7600 E, and 7600 E between 400 S and 500 S. Officials noted that these roads may have been subject to temporary closures while the work was completed.
