The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has officially broken ground on a new temple located in Santos, Brazil.
Church leaders and local officials gathered on Saturday for the ceremony marking the start of construction.
During the ceremony, speakers noted that the new temple is expected to bring spiritual blessings to the area.
Additionally, officials stated that the temple will support the continued growth of the Santos community.
