Overview
Monrovian Trailhead is located along Forest Road 078 in Monroe Canyon at 6,330 feet in elevation. Caution: Access to this canyon is via a narrow, one-lane road. Please reduce your speed and remain alert for oncoming vehicles, OHVs, and pedestrians.Natural Features
This site is located in a canyon bottom with steep ridges in every direction. The main vegetation types around the trailhead are sage, gambel oak and pinyon/juniper.Facilities
There is a vault toilet restroom, gravel parking area, unloading ramp, hitching post and an information kiosk available at this site.Recreation
Popular activities in the area include horseback riding, viewing scenery, and OHV riding on designated routes. The trailhead provides access to Paiute Side Trail #78. Be cautious since rattle snakes can be found in the canyon. Please pack-out what you pack-in.

Monrovian Trailhead is about 4 miles southeast from Monroe Utah. From the junction of Main Street and Center Street in Monroe, head south on main Street for 0.8 miles. Follow the road as it turns left and becomes the Monroe Canyon Road (FR078) for 3 miles, then at the next fork in the road take a right across a bridge and follow the road the trailhead will be on your left.
