We are informing the community of the upcoming demolition of Dixon Middle School.

Demolition begins:
July 10, 2026, at 7:00 a.m.
Demolition is anticipated to take approximately eight weeks. Work will occur during Provo City noise ordinance hours, from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Crews have been working onsite to prepare the building for demolition. Required permits have been executed through the State of Utah.
Safety precautions have been instituted, including site fencing, security cameras and the shutdown of utilities.
Residents should expect increased semi-truck traffic around the school, along with additional machinery noise. Crews will mitigate dust using water hoses and street sweepers.
