Bear Lake State Park provides a variety of recreational opportunities across its Utah and Idaho locations, featuring white sand and crystal blue water. The park areas include various campgrounds, beaches, and boat ramps for visitors.
Utah Marina Facilities and Services
The Utah State Marina and Park Office is located on the west side of Bear Lake, approximately one mile north of the US 89/SR 30 junction on US 89 in Garden City. While no campsites are available at this location, there are 20 reservable overnight boat slips and one reservable group day use pavilion, along with boating and fishing supplies and boat rentals.
Rendezvous Beach and North Beach Features
Rendezvous Beach features four reservable group sites with pavilions as well as 106 reservable, full hook-up sites. Additionally, North Beach offers a two mile long swim area characterized by a gradual slope of the lake bottom.
East Side Utah Campgrounds
The east side of Utah's Bear Lake State Park contains five campgrounds with beaches and boat ramps, including First Point, South Eden, Cisco Beach, Rainbow Cove, and North Eden. These locations are situated from 4 miles to 12 miles north of Laketown on Cisco Road.
Idaho Side Campground Amenities
On the Idaho side of the border, Mountain Fawn Campground is located just north of the Idaho/Utah border. This site offers campsites for groups as large as 50 and includes amenities such as electricity, fire rings, charcoal grills, and a dump station, along with a day use area.
