Deer Valley Resort has announced an exclusive opening weekend for season pass holders scheduled for November 29 and 30, 2025. Following this exclusive period, the resort will open to the general public on Monday, December 1.
This season marks the debut of the resort's largest expansion ever, which includes significant additions to terrain and lift infrastructure as part of the Expanded Excellence initiative.
The expansion has more than doubled the resort's skiable terrain. Since December 2024, Deer Valley has added 10 new lifts and nearly 100 new runs. For the 2025/26 season, the resort will feature 31 chairlifts, over 200 ski runs, seven bowls, and 4,300 skiable acres.
Key infrastructure updates include the East Village Express Gondola, which is Utah's first 10-passenger gondola, the Pinyon Express, and the Revelator Express quad lift. The new Deer Valley East Village will also provide 1,200 new day skier parking spaces.
Deer Valley President and COO Todd Bennett stated that much hard work went into meeting Expanded Excellence milestones and that guests will experience new lifts, runs, and untouched terrain while receiving the resort's signature luxury service.
Several season pass options are available for the upcoming season, including the Deer Valley Unlimited Season Pass, the new Deer Valley Select Season Pass, the Deer Valley Midweek Season Pass, and the Utah Limited Pass for residents. The resort also accepts the IKON Pass, which provides seven days of access at Deer Valley with no blackout days.
Prices for lift tickets and season passes are scheduled to increase on Friday, October 10, 2025. Detailed information regarding the 2025/26 season and the Expanded Excellence initiative is available at deervalley.com.
