ESPN is set to provide exclusive coverage of 86 Little League Baseball Region Tournament games this summer. The broadcast schedule includes 55 games available on ESPN+, 28 games on ESPN, and three games on ESPN2.
Coverage is scheduled to begin Thursday, Aug. 6, and will run through Friday, Aug. 14. All tournament games will also be available via the ESPN App for subscribers.
From Aug. 11 through Aug. 14, ESPN and ESPN2 will showcase region semifinal and championship action. This coverage will feature all 10 U.S. region tournaments competing for a berth in the Little League Baseball World Series.
Additionally, Little League Baseball Around the Bases presented by DICK'S Sporting Goods will air on ESPN+ on Aug. 8 and 9 from 1-9 p.m. ET each day. Hosted by Matt Schick and Mike Rooney, the program will provide fans with live look-ins, highlights, and updates from various region tournament sites across the country.
The tournament coverage will feature more than 20 ESPN commentators. The broadcast team includes play-by-play commentators Trey Bender, Cooper Boardman, Troy Clardy, Eric Frede, Lowell Galindo, Clay Matvick, Roy Philpott, Victor Rojas, Matt Schumacker, Doug Sherman, and Matt Stewart. Analysts include David Aardsma, Chris Burke, Lance Cormier, Jack DeLongchamps, Danan Hughes, Jared Mitchell, Keith Moreland, Gregg Olson, Kyle Peterson, Gaby Sanchez, Devon Travis, Connor Wanhanen, and Vernon Wells.
The tournament action will originate from five host sites: Bristol, Conn. for the Mid-Atlantic, Metro and New England regions; Whitestown, Ind. for the Great Lakes and Midwest regions; Warner Robins, Ga. for the Southeast region; Waco, Texas for the Southwest region; and San Bernardino, Calif. for the Mountain, Northwest, and West regions.
