The school's academic offerings included concurrent enrollment, advanced placement, and MTECH programs. Students participating in concurrent enrollment could earn college credit through UVU transcripts, provided they met specific GPA requirements of 3.0 for core classes and 2.0 for electives.
UVU Concurrent Enrollment Details
Live Interactive classes were broadcast from the UVU Orem campus. These classes required students to enroll online through UVU and often fulfilled general education requirements. Advanced Placement courses, considered the most rigorous at the school, included sixteen options where students could opt to take spring exams for potential college credit.
MTECH Vocational Training Programs
MTECH programs allowed students to pursue state certification in fields such as Dental Assistant, Medical Assistant, EMT, Electrical, and Certified Nurse Assistant. Students also had the opportunity to enroll in MTECH programs located in Utah County.
Tutoring and Academic Assistance
For students needing academic assistance, several credit recovery and tutoring options existed. Tutoring was offered on Mondays during consultation time with teachers and on Thursdays for math.
Credit Recovery and Summer School
Credit recovery methods included teacher-led recovery for students close to passing, eSchool online credit recovery, and grade replacement processes. Additionally, summer school options were available through the counseling department.
