Dr. Nancy Sherman will present the tenth annual Weber State University Distinguished Lecture in Philosophy, according to a report published August 25.
The presentation, titled Stoic Consolations, is scheduled to take place on November 16 from noon to 1:15 p.m.
The lecture will be held in the Haven J. Barlow Lecture Hall, located in Lindquist Hall Room 101.
Dr. Sherman is a Distinguished University Professor and Professor of Philosophy at Georgetown University.
The lecture series received financial support from Robert and Marcia Harris.
