The Herriman City Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on September 16, 2026, to consider a zoning map amendment, according to a September 4 notice.
The meeting is scheduled to take place in the City Council Chambers at 5355 W Herriman Main Street from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
The hearing will address a recommendation to amend the Herriman Zoning Map for a property located approximately at 7234 W Herriman Main Street. The proposal seeks to change the designation from A-1-43 Single Family Agricultural Zone to SR-1 Special Residential Zone, or an equivalent designation.
The requested amendment would permit residential development of up to 5.5 dwelling units per gross acre, based on a 6,000 square foot lot average. The property owner and applicant for this request is Perry Homes, and the project involves approximately 2.00 acres under file number Z2024-040.
